The breakfast at The Whitehouse was simply outstanding. Every morning, they served a delicious selection of both continental and cooked options. I particularly enjoyed their homemade banana bread, which was absolutely divine. The hosts, Chris and Katie, were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They provided excellent recommendations for exploring the surrounding towns and villages. The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing us to easily discover the beautiful South Hams area. The interiors of The Whitehouse were stunning and the rooms were both comfortable and beautifully decorated. One of the best parts was that the hotel is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us as we were able to bring our furry friend along. The garden was amazing, and we loved relaxing with a G&T from the honesty bar. I highly recommend The Whitehouse for a wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

Just a small consideration - the lack of a partition door in the room made it a bit less private, especially when using the toilet. However, this was not a major issue for us as we were a couple sharing the room.

We recently stayed at a charming hotel in Devon. The location was fantastic, secluded and quiet. We were impressed by the beautiful room and the attention to detail in the decor. The breakfast included locally sourced ingredients, and we particularly enjoyed the homemade specials. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided excellent recommendations for day trips. The gardens provided a safe and tranquil space for our furry friend. The only slight negative was that the bathroom lacked privacy due to the lack of a partition door. we highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and comfortable stay in the countryside.
